I could not come up with a witty title for this post. Its early and I’m kind of tired. Heather and I read Forever Too Far together when it came out and it was so good we finished within a couple of hours. This is the third and final book in the Too Far series which is about Rush and Blaire. The first is Fallen Too Far (GR review) and then the sequel is Never Too Far (check out our review here). The good news is that Abbi Glines has started writing spin offs, The Perfection series which is Twisted Perfection (review) and Simple Perfection (release Sept.23), about Woods. She is also writing a series about Grant, This One Chance that will be released this winter. What does this mean for us? It means that while the books specifically about Rush and Blaire are over we will see them again through the other books. Ms. Glines has imagined and perfectly delivered a great world for us to visit!
Please do not read further or the reviews for the other books until you have read Fallen Too Far, unless you want spoilers.
Forever Too Far (Too Far #3) by Abbi Glines
Torn between his love for his family and his love for Blaire, Rush has to find a way to save one without losing the other. In the end one has to be more important. Letting go isn’t easy.
Blaire believed in her fairytale… but no one can live in a fantasy.
Her love for Rush and desire to have a family keep her believing that they can find a way for this to work. Until she has to make the right decision for her and the baby. Even if it breaks her heart.
Can they find the forever that they both want or has it all just gone… too far?

Amanda: I am speechless… That ending was cute and badass all rolled into one. I do not think it’s possible to love this story more than I do. This has to be my favorite book in this series. ❤
Early in the book I was having Fallen Too Far flashbacks and was actually worried we might have a repeat on our hands. Thank goodness I was mostly wrong. Nan is still a terrible person but unlike the other books the conflicts don’t last long at all. So while you will groan at some repetitive material the majority of this book was fantastic!
I am still in love with Rush and Blaire.
“Please, just call it big. Don’t call it pretty. That hurts its feelings.”
Their wedding made me cry and I was just enamored with Rush due to his attitude after his son was born. And that part about their son loving his wife because rush taught him how about made me cry.
The characters we love are present and accounted for and we get some new ones as well, I adore Harlow and I am now so excited for Grant’s books! You get a couple of scenes crossing over with Woods and Della that will leave you craving their sequel. Speaking of cravings you get more steamy scenes from Rush and Blaire due to her pregnancy hormones (or it could just be that Rush is a hot, sexy man)!
“You have 5 seconds before I decide I don’t care what you say”
The only thing I would have liked to see happen would be Nan trying to be a decent person. There are other books in the future of this world so I may get my chance to see that. And thankfully that also means I do not have to say goodbye just yet to my book friends in Rosemary!
**I do feel like I need to add this, that the mention that you can buy the song on iTunes in the middle of the story (right after the song) was jarring and I didn’t like it one bit!**
Heather: Ahhh, what an amazing ending to an emotional story. I have had a love/hate relationship with Blaire and Rush. I will admit there was no “Rush Crush” for me from the first book. He was not a nice guy and I struggled to like him. But, over the last two books I have become a fan. However, sometimes I was so mad at them for their lack of communication or because they were both being stupid. But I feel like they really got it together this book. This was by far my favorite of the Fallen Too Far series. I loved the relationships between both Blaire and Rush’s fathers. I also loved the chapters of Harlow and Grant. As Amanda and I were reading this, we were discussing, via text, how amazing it would be if Grant and Harlow had a story. I am very happy with the ending and the start, hopefully, of Grant and Harlow’s story.
