Hello lovelies,

So last year at this time while I was in Hawaii I discovered a new (to me) genre of book… contemporary romance. It all started with Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire, which is one of my all time favorites and the sequel comes out in a month!!! While I do not remember what possessed me to buy that book it started me down a new path. And the next book I read was Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens. I love the Thoughtless series, and I want to share my love with y’all since the third book comes out in 2 days. Some people did get this book early from some retailers, I was not lucky enough to be one of those, so I am still waiting. You can read the first 2 chapters and some special content that the author was kind enough to post here. The day I finish the book you will here about it. My goal for this post is to convince you that this series is worth reading and that you will fall in love with it too. Here goes nothing. BTW incase you are new to our blog or just haven’t realized yet I do not post spoilers. Our reviews may be short and sweet sometimes but that is purely for the fact that we do not want to ruin any part of the book for y’all.

Amanda: Oh my goodness, is all I can say! I loved the romance in this book. I will agree with others that at the end she was being so careless with both men and it hurts. I was still very happy with the ending!!! Since I originally read this I have revisited this story many times and I greatly enjoy it. Everyone should be aware that she does cheat on her boyfriend in this book and it is emotionally devastating. This book gets deep down. You fall in love with these characters and care about what happens to them. If you know anything about this book you have probably heard of some of the secondary characters which are amazing. The best part about this series is that she does not leave you in a cliffhanger. She relies solely on the fact that you will love her characters and want to learn more about them and their world to get the next book sold. This book is really fantastic and it will forever be one of my favorites!

Heather: I thought this book was beautifully written. S.C. Stephens did a great job of getting the reader invested in each of the characters separately. By doing this, it was hard to pull for one character and not the other. This is an amazing book that I will read over and over again.

Amanda: Loved it just as much if not more than the first!
This book is about growing as person and learning to trust your partner. There are situations in this book that make you nervous as Heather puts it but this book is amazing and you need to finish it no matter what. I cried quite a few times during this book and there are times where you just want to slap some sense into the characters. But the sweet things he does in this book are remarkable and my heart melted so many times during this story. There is a really great scene in a bathroom at a party that you will never forget! 😉 All the characters show growth through this novel. I loved this story so much and I cannot wait for the conclusion as sad as I will be once its over.

Heather: I loved the way this book ended. I have to admit that my sweaty palms and I were very nervous most of the book. I was much happier with the relationship in this book vs. the first one. I was sad at the relationship at the end of the last book. I felt like it was missing the original passion they had. I was happy to find out the passion (not in the sack, but it was there to) returned to the couple. Great Book and super fun read.
