I read a book today that has been getting a lot of great reviews. Here is what I thought and I should note that I am not enjoying writing this post. I wanted to love this book as much as everyone else but I didn’t. Don’t get me wrong I did not hate or even dislike this book but it could have been sooo much better!

Wallbanger by Alice Clayton

This book is super funny but that’s about it. While I was dying laughing I was kind of disappointed. And if I hear about a lost o one more time I might cry or bang my head against a wall. While it may seem this book is just about sex, the steamy scenes are at a minimum in this book. It’s more of a romantic comedy book. Good read but not great! I really liked the characters, the stuff with all their friends was pretty unique and great. I guess it all boils down to all the “no o” talk started to annoy me. I mean she literally starts the book like that and uses the phrase 20-30 times in the first little bit, even more through the book (the blurb gives you an indication). I will say it was quite refreshing to read a book that had an ending and was not a heart stopping cliffhanger. I miss books that are complete by themselves. The humor and character interactions saved this book, I did enjoy reading it! And the cover is fantastic. 😉 But at $8 I wouldn’t do it again and wouldn’t recommend it to people.
