Book review: Reckless by S.C. Stephens

Hello lovelies,

I already prepped y’all for this review and I am sorry it has taken me a week to get it done. But we are done waiting and I am finally finished with the ending to a great series.

Reckless by S.C. Stephens

41-xV+hQ4DL._AA278_PIkin4,BottomRight,-49,22_AA300_SH20_OU01_Blurb: Can love survive when life gets Reckless?

When the band hits it big, Kiera and Kellan must ask themselves: Can their love for each other withstand the constant pressures of superstardom? The friendships they’ve formed, the new family they’ve found, and the history they’ve forged will all play a part in helping them navigate the turbulent waters of the band’s exploding popularity. A greedy executive hell-bent on success, a declining pop star looking for an edge, and a media circus that twists lies into truths are just some of the obstacles the lovers will have to overcome if they are going to remain together. Fame comes with a price—but will it cost Kiera and Kellan everything?

Just finished, this was the best ending to a series I have ever read! I still am not sure what all to say about this book. I want to shout how much I loved it and tell you all about it. But I am not going to tell you any spoilers, sorry! I am just going to assure you that it was an amazing conclusion to our beloved series. The drama dished up in this chapter of the Thoughtless series was something that really does seem to happen in life, however, I thought it was kind of weak. This makes me happy as well as confuses me. I wanted the drama to be more nail-biting and at the same time I was also so happy that it wasn’t about them thinking the other is cheating. This entire story got to feel like an epilogue and I loved that. The growth that the characters show during this book still gets me. Griffin became my second favorite behind Kellan, who shows a great deal of emotional progression during this book. The resolution of the original love triangle was overwhelming. We have seen the three try to be friends after the tragic event in the first book but it stayed slightly awkward and in this story the trio found their peace with what happened and became a stronger family. We got to make sure everyone ended up happy not just Kellan and Kiera. I am still sad that the series is over but I loved the way it ended!
