Beautiful Stranger: Bloody Fantastic!

Hello Lovelies,

I have 2 book reviews that are due next week as well as the Date Me blog tour post that will be up on Saturday morning and I took time off my other books to blast through this one. I read the first book, Beautiful Bastard, 2 months ago in Hawaii and you can read my review here. Well I loved the first one and I fell even harder for this second mouth-watering morsel by the wonderful ladies Christina and Lauren. They get a lot more respect from me for the reason that these characters were completely opposite of the BB characters and I effortlessly connect with all of them. They are amazing authors and I cannot wait for their next novel!

Beautiful Stranger by Christina Lauren

17406944Blurb: A charming British Playboy. A girl determined to finally live. And a secret liaison revealed in all too vivid color. Book two in the NYT Bestselling series.

Escaping a cheating ex, finance whiz Sara Dillon’s moved to New York City and is looking for excitement without a lot of strings attached. So meeting the irresistible, sexy Brit at a dance club should have meant nothing more than a night’s fun. But the manner–and speed–with which he melts her inhibitions turns him from a one-time hookup and into her Beautiful Stranger. The whole city knows Max Stella loves women, not that he’s ever found one he particularly wants to keep around. Despite pulling in plenty with his Wall Street bad boy charm, it’s not until Sara–and the wild photos she lets him take of her–that he starts wondering if there’s someone for him outside of the bedroom.Hooking up in places where anybody could catch them, the only thing scarier for Sara than getting caught in public is having Max get too close in private.

Loved every voyeuristic moment of this book! This book is about Max and Petal aka Sara. It does include the characters from Beautiful Bastard, Chloe and Bennett, but they are barely in it. Actually all of the secondary characters are barely in this novel because it is truly about Max and Sara. It is about their journey of self discovery through sexual exploration that, SPOILER ALERT, ends with them falling in love. HAHA, that’s not really a spoiler because hopefully everyone realizes that was definitely going to happen. This book was seriously great! As much as I loved BB this book was better because the characters were just so sweet and bold at the same time. In the first book it was the crazy sexual tension that also had you constantly guessing if Chloe was going to slap Bennett that made it such a fun read. But it was exhilarating to read about a girl who seems so innocent yet does some down right illegal and racy things. I cannot even think of a good word to describe this. And Max, even though the description says he is a playboy he never acts like one ever. Plus he is British so the things he says were just adorable. He is a great guy and does everything he can to please Sara.  Some of which where very impressive. The men need to take note of his effort! 😉 The only complaint I have is that it ended suddenly and I was hoping for an epilogue or even just one more really great scene at the end. It did have a sweet and good ending I just wanted more time with them being happy and resolved in their relationship at the end. Fantastic read and well worth the money!
